Chocolate and chestnuts are two flavors that merge perfectly, each one maintaining its own personality. This recipe, which pairs them with balance, is perfect for a special occasion to celebrate with friends and family.
Soften the butter at room temperature. Melt 200g of the chocolate with the milk in a double boiler, then let cool.
Add the chestnut compote, the butter in small pieces and the vanilla flavoring. Mix with a wooden spoon until it becomes a compact cream. Line the sides and bottom of a pan with baking parchment and pour in the mixture.
Chill in the refrigerator for 12 hours. When serving, turn out on a serving dish and grate the remaining chocolate on top.
