Accessibility Statement

ZAINI S.p.A. is committed to making its website accessible to all users, regardless of disability, assistive technologies, or access methods, in compliance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) — as transposed into Italian law by Legislative Decree No. 82/2022 — and with reference to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria.

Compliance Status

The website is currently partially compliant with the accessibility requirements set out by the European Accessibility Act, due to certain non-compliances or temporary exceptions.
ZAINI S.p.A. has undertaken a continuous digital accessibility improvement process aimed at progressively addressing these issues, in line with WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria.

Non-accessible Content

Below is a list of the main elements that may not yet be fully accessible.
This list is based on a preliminary analysis of the website and will be updated following more in-depth technical audits.

• Images: some images (banners, machinery photos, diagrams) may lack descriptive alternative text or may include alternative text that is not fully appropriate to the context (WCAG 1.1.1).
• PDF documents: brochures or technical datasheets available on the website may not be structured and tagged in accordance with the PDF/UA standard, making them not fully readable by screen readers.
• Menus and dynamic components: dropdown menus, carousels, and other script-managed elements may not always be fully navigable via keyboard or may lack visible focus indicators and appropriate ARIA roles (WCAG 2.1.1 and 2.1.4).
• Color contrast: text over images or overlays may not meet the minimum contrast ratio required by the WCAG (WCAG 1.4.3).
• Links with generic labels: text links such as “Read more” or “Details” without additional context clearly identifying the destination.
• Multimedia content: some videos may not include subtitles or complete transcripts.

Note: these findings are the result of a manual review and do not replace a full technical audit (automated tools + manual testing + testing with real users).
Details and priorities will be defined within the Accessibility Improvement Plan.

ZAINI S.p.A. is actively working to address these issues, in collaboration with accessibility specialists and through periodic testing with users and assistive technologies.
